The Lusty Vegan is written by chef Ayindé Howell and writer Zoë Eisenberg, collaborators, friends and vegan master-minds.

Ayindé Howell has over fifteen years’ experience as a restaurant chef, beginning when he opened his first café in Seattle in 1999. After five years and notable success in Seattle, he took his show on the road to New York, becoming an executive chef, one of the youngest in Manhattan. Ayindé has since traveled the world cooking vegan vittles for celebrities. His recipes have been published in the New York Times, Essence Magazine, VegNews Magazine, and many others. He is a fourth generation entrepreneur who currently holds the position of founder and “Bossman” of the award-winning website iEatGrass.com, also home to his critically acclaimed culinary event brand, Wildflower. With a background in creative writing and health promotion, Zoë Eisenberg enjoys storytelling in many forms. In addition to writing fiction and nonfiction, Zoe also works as a screenwriter and independent film producer. She lives on the Big Island of Hawaii. Find her on Twitter and Instagram.
